Jigawa State Partners Private School Owners To Improve Education

Jigawa State government has reaffirmed it’s commitment to continue partnering with private schools towards improving the standard of Education.

The commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Dr. Lawan Yunusa Dan Zomo stated this when he receive members of the Association of Private School Owners of Nigeria who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

Dr Lawan Yunusa Dan Zomo described private schools as a veritable tool toward progress of education in the state.

He stressed the need for a collaboration with the state government in achieving the desired objective.

The Commissioner commended the effort of private schools for their untiring effort in impacting qualitative education among the children and assured them of government continued support at all times.

In a speech, the State Chairman of the Association, Mr. Felix called on the commissioner to consider inclusion of private school students in its scholarship programme and other relevant opportunities being the citizen of jigawa state.

He therefore assured their readiness to partner with the government at all levels towards improving standard of Education in the state.
