Jigawa state government has planned to construct a general hospital in Kiyawa local government area to improve healthcare services.
Governor Badaru Abubakar stated this during commissioning ceremony of the newly constructed and rehabilitated road projects by his counterpart the Katsina state governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari in Kiyawa town.
According to him, this was part of the present administration effort to providing people with basic social amenities.
Alhaji Badaru Abubakar pointed out that, government had constructed and rehabilitated four point one kilometer township road in Kiyawa town headquarters of Kiyawa local government area.
He explained that the project was part of effort to up lift the standard of cities and urban areas across the state.
The Governor expressed gratitude to people in the state for continued support and prayers to the state and president Muhammadu Buhari for unity and progress of the country.
Also speaking, Governor Aminu Bello Masari of katsina state commended Alhaji Badaru Abubakar for the projects execution that have direct bearing on the life of the people.
He called on people of the state to continue supporting the Governor in order to benefit from more dividend of democracy.
Earlier, the state commissioner for works and transport, Engineer Aminu Usman Gumel said the township roads were among the township roads executed by the present administration.
Similarly, on behalf of Kiyawa community, a former member of the house of representative representing the area, Alhaji Tijjani Ibrahim Gaya commended the state government for executing numerous capital projects in the area.
He assured their continued loyalty to Governor Badaru Abubakar and also thanked him for inviting governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina state to commission the project.
