Additional Police To Be Deployed In Kaduna – CP Muri

Kaduna state Commissioner of police, Alh. Umar Musa Muri says additional police personnel will be redeployed to enhance security of lives and property.

He gave the assurance during a courtesy visit to the Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli at his palace in Zaria.

Alh. Umar Musa Muri said this followed a request by the Command to the Inspector General of Police to tackle security challenges bedeviling some parts of the state.

He assured the emir and the people of the state of police readiness to curtail crimes and criminals activities throughout the state.

The Commissioner solicited the support and cooperation of the Emirate and entire people of the state to achieve the set goals.

He urged the Emir to assist the Command in identifying bad eggs among his personnel, assuring that the Command would not hesitate to flush them out of service.

Responding, Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli said the Emirate was enjoying relative peace due to the secrifice and hard work of police personnel in the Emirate.

He appealed for provision of more sophisticated weapons to the personnel to fight the alarming rate of insurgency and banditry

Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, particularly solicited for the provision of Amoured Personnel Vehicle to Combat banditry activities in parts of Giwa, Iyatawa, Kidandan and Galadimawa axis.

The Emir also called for the establishment of police out post in Fatika and Gwargwaje to enhance security in the areas.

The Police Commissioner was accompanied to the Emir’s palace by DC Operation Mustapha Bala, ACP Sirajo Fana and DPO,s in the zone.
