Kaduna State Residents Registration Agency KADSRRA has commenced training of it staff on Digital Skills for effective service delivery.

Executive Secretary of the agency, Alhaji Zayyad Tsiga stated this while speaking with newsmen in kaduna.

Alhaji Tsiga who was represented by the Special Assistant to Kaduna State governor on Residents Registration Mrs Joy Ajulu Chuku said the training was Sponsored by the USAID and facilitated by Ihifix Technologies with a view to provide Digital Skills and Technical Support to the agency Staff.

He said the agency worked closely with National Identity Management System to register residents of Kaduna State.

“We decided that, since we are working with alot of Data and numbers is important that we equip our self technically to be able to work more efficiently to deliver on our mandate”

“We have been in conversation with the USAID seeking support and that arrangement was finally signed in January and is one of the component of the technical skills training agreement.

The team leader of Ihifix technology Emmanuel Odeh Adikwei, revealed that, the training focused on Basic and Advance Digital skills aimed at increasing the staff productivity.

Mr Emmanuel Odeh noted that the essence of Digital skill would help Civil servant in the area of E governance.

He pointed out that, E governance could not be achieved without digital skills, emphasising that, Civil servant are the drivers and workforce of every state.

According to him, thirty participants would benefit from the training for the period of six weeks.
