Jigawa State Introduces Hajj Saving Scheme

Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board says it will launch the newly introduced Hajj Saving Scheme in the state.

The Executive Secretary, Alhaji Sani Alhasan Muhammad who stated this in an interview with newsmen, explained that Governor Badaru Abubakar would launch the program in Dutse.

According to him,  the Hajj saving scheme program was introduced to enable intending pilgrims pay hajj fares on instalments.

He pointed out that the state pilgrims welfare Board had so far registered over eight hundred prospective pilgrims for 2021 Hajj Exercise.

Also speaking, the Chairman of the Board Alhaji Isa Musa Miga said the scheme was introduced to enable less priviledged deposit money for the Hajj exercise and called on people to use the opportunity.

He appealed to intending depositors to make payments through certified Bank draft bearing their names and also advised them to be careful in transaction with third party in the name of the Board.

According to him, the Board will not be held responsible for deposit made to any unauthorized person not recognized by the Board.
