Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has called on supporters of All Progressives Congress – APC in the state to continue to work for sustenance of the party’s unity and peace for good governance and development.
The Governor made the call shortly after revalidating his membership card of APC in his polling unit, Gudi Station, Akwanga Local Government Area of the state.
According to him, good governance can only be achieved when there is peace and unity devoid of tendencies that would over heat the polity.
He called on supporters of the APC to ensure full participation in the registration, revalidation and updating of their membership card to achieve success of the exercise.
In a remark, Chairman of the APC Membership Revalidation, Registration and Update Panel in the State, Mallam Isiaka Tanko Yamawo said the team would work according to the guidelines to achieve the mandate given them.
Senators representing Nasarawa Southern and Western Zones of the state, Tanko Almakura and Abdullahi Adamu respectively attended the exercise which witnessed the formal reception of new decampees from the PDP and other political parties to the APC.
