Ebonyi state Governor, David Umahi has commended Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state for the execution of projects that have direct bearings on the life of the people.
He made the remark while commissioning Babura township roads in Babura local government area of Jigawa state.

Governor David Umahi explained that the Nigerian Governors forum is proud with the commitment of Governor Badaru Abubakar for his immense contribution to the socio-economic and political development of the country.
He therefore called on the people in the state to continue supporting the Governor to benefit from more dividend of democracy.
Also speaking, Governor Badaru Abubakar explained that the state government has constructed 15 township roads in some local government headquarters of the state.
According to him, the state government has spent over three billion naira on the project.
Alhaji Badaru Abubakar pointed out that the state government had constructed 1,537 kilometres of roads across the state and will continue to construct more to improve the socio economic well being of the people.
According to him, his administration had empowered 150,000 youth as well as the construction of additional 4,000 classrooms across the state.
Badaru also said new general hospitals were built, while five health centres were upgraded to general hospitals.
Earlier in his welcome address, the state commissioner for works and Transport, Engineer Aminu Usman Gumel said the state government has inherited 42 road projects estimated at over 55 billion naira which were already completed.
