Insecurity: Police Ask Residents To Be Vigilant In Kwara State

Kwara state police command has called on residents of the state to remain vigilant and report influx of criminal elements from neighboring states to the command for prompt action.

Commisssioner of Police, Muhammed Lawal-Bagega made the call while speaking at an extraordinary meeting with Area Commanders and Heads of Tactical units at the command Headquarters in Ilorin.

According to him, no break down of law and order of any nomenclature will be tolerated in any part of the state.

He advised the divisional Police Officers and Area Commanders to monitor the activities of herders and farmers, adding that they must be professional in their handling of all issues brought before them.

Lawal-Bagega urged the officers to oil the community policing machinery in their different areas by partnering with all relevant stakeholders in monitoring the alleged influx of strange Fulani in the state.
