APPEALS Empower 2,000 PLWDs In Kaduna State

About Two thousand Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs have been selected for empowerment Program towards making them successful entrepreneurs in Kaduna State.

The State Project coordinator for Agro- processing Productivity Enhancement and Livelihood Improvement Support Project APPEALS, Dr. Yahaya Aminu stated this at an interactive meeting on harmonization and Needs assessment for the beneficiaries in Kaduna.

Represented by a facilitators of the APPEALS Project, Mr. Reuben Sankop, the Coordinator said the entrepreneurship Program will enhance the living standards of beneficiaries and keep them preoccupied with business activities.

He said the technical interactive session was to harmonized ideas between all stakeholders and the beneficiaries aimed at bringing out a clean working plan for the programme.

According to Dr. Yahaya Aminu, the components of the projects include, Fish Farming, poultry farming, dairy and Ginger Farming.

Responding, some of the beneficiaries, Hajiya Zainab Ibrahim and Abdullahi Jugnu expressed commitment to succeed in their chosen endeavors.
