Plateau State Govt Reaffirms Commitment to End Criminality

Plateau State Government says it will not hesitate to sign dead warrant for anyone found guilty of kidnapping.

Governor Simon Lalong stated this during an engagement with stakeholders in Jos.

He maintained that his administration would not tolerate any form of criminality.

The Governor noted that security was a collective responsibility and charged people of the state to assist Government in sensitizing citizens to always be security conscious.

He expressed dismay that most people had remained careless and reluctant in observing the COVID 19 protocols.

In his address, Deputy speaker House of Representatives Ahmed Idris called on the people to take note of strangers in their communities and report any suspicious movement to security Agencies.

He further commended Governor Lalong for maintaining peace in the State.
