Niger State Govt Commiserates With Mashegu Communities

Niger state government has commisseraed with people of Mashegu local government area over the recent attack by bandits that killed seven innocent citizens at Babban Rami village.

Secretary to the Niger State Government Ahmed Ibrahim Matane led a delegation to the families of those who lost their loved ones as a result of violent attack in Mashegu to commisserate with them over the unfortunate incident.

Ahmed Ibrahim Matane however reasssued people of Niger state of renewed vigour and determination of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello to end banditry, kidnapping and all forms of criminality in parts of Niger state.

He appealled to Nigerlites not to despair but to see the activities of bandits and other criminal elements as a challenge towards stepping up collective efforts to defeat the enemies of peace and development.

This according to him could be done in active collaboration with government security agencies and the vigilante.

Secretary to the Niger State Government who called for collective efforts in fighting crime also implored people to support government efforts in tackling current security challenges bedeviling the state.

Ahmed Ibrahim Matane who also urged people to report any suspicious movement in their midst to relevant security agencies, stressed that security is everybody’s business.

He however charged traditional, religious and community leaders to be proactive in fighting insecurity in their domain to it’s logical conclusion.

Responding Sarkin Babban Rami the Wakilin Hakimin Kabogi Alh Musa Adamu described visit by the SSG as an encouragement to the purposeful leadership of Governor Abubakar Sani Bello as well as demonstrating high level of commitment to end banditry in Niger state.
