Breaking: Radio Nigeria Emerges Best Station Of The Year

Federal Radio Corporation Of Nigeria FRCN has won the best Radio Station of the year while Mary Fatile of the Lagos Network Bureau emerged the best Radio Reporter of the year.

Both awards were announced at the 2020 Nigeria Media Merit Awards held in Lagos.

In other categories, TVC won the best television station of the year while the Nations News paper won in the print category.

The event attracted media practitioners from across the country.

Similarly, the Management of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN has announced incentives which include special promotion for members of staff who win national and international awards.

Director – General of FRCN, Dr Mansur Liman, stated this in Lagos while receiving Mrs Mary Fatile, the Winner of the 2018 Nigerian Media Merit Award of Best Reporter of the Year and Best Investigative Reporter in West Africa

Dr Liman congratulated Mrs Fatile for the second NMMA Award having won that of 2017, which symbolises her spirited dedication to work,with a call on other members of staff to emulate the award winner.

Director News of FRCN, Mallam Sani Suleiman, expressed delight over the development, while saluting Mrs Fatile for the achievement, which according to him is a plus to her professional record.

Mrs Fatile who was equally congratulated by Director Lagos Operations, Prince Adeyinka Amosu and his Enugu National Station counterpart, Mr Ike Okere, thanked the management for the motivation, her supervisors for their support, while encouraging her colleagues to always go the extra mile to discharge their duties.
