NCNE Trains Youths On Fashion Design,Others

The National commission for Nomadic Education says it has developed various strategies and approaches geared towards promoting community driven needs programmes aimed at empowering youths with skills acquisition training.

The executive secretary of the commission professor Bashir Usman stated this during the opening ceremony of a three day training program of 120 youths on Skills acquisition,with aim of creating job apportunities.

The executive secretary who was represented by the Director Quality assuarance of the agency Mr Akin Akinyosoye,said the commission was working tirelessly in providing skills acquisition training in various traits,with the aim of making them to become self releint.

Professor Bashir Usman maintined that the training slated for three days attracted participants from Three local government areas,namely Ajingi,Albasu and Gaya.

He noted that the 120 trainees would be trained on Dry season farming,Fashion design and Hair dressing.

In his remark the Director extension, Education and skills Development of the agency Dr Usman Ardo said the aim of the training was to engage the youths with skills acquisition,aimed at driven their minds away from various unlawful acts .

He noted that at the end of the training participants would be supported with some stater parks with the aim of boosting their morale.

Ardo added that the training was in collaboration with the member of National Assembly Representing Ajingi ,Albasu and Gaya Alhaji Mahmud Gaya under the federal constituency projects..
