Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic Spends Over N7m On Covid-19

Nuhu Bamalli polytechnic Zaria, has received over 7 million naira from Kaduna state government to purchase Covid 19 materials for Students.

The Rector Dr. Muh’d Kabiru Abdullahi, stated this during an interview with newsmen in his office at Zaria.

Dr. Kabiru Abdullahi explained that the funds would be used to purchase Personal Protective Equipment PPE against the contagious disease as academic activities resume fully.

He said items to be procured include facemask, hand sanitizer, hand washing buckets, temperature and fumigation machines among others

The Rector also confirmed that the polytechnic was strictly observing COVID 19 protocols and would not allow students into classes without wearing facemask and observing social distancing during lectures.

According to him, first set of the students are already in the campus and will be writing their exams early December, while all is set to invite the second batch of students for the academic session.

Dr kabiru urged staff and students to ensure strict compliance to COVID 19 guidelines, as government took necessary steps to make Kaduna State free of the killer disease.

The Rector, equally thanked the Kaduna state government for its commitment to support the institution with funds and other educational materials to enable it produce qualified students.
