World Bank Project Registers About 2,000 Businesses

Kaduna State Agro-Processing, Productivity Enhancement And Livelihood Improvement Support (APPEALS), is currently collaborating with Corporate Affairs Commission to register the business of One Thousand Seven Hundred beneficiaries of the programme.

The State Coordinator, Dr. Yahaya Aminu stated this at a technical meeting for the preparation and review of Business Investment Plan for Women and Youths in Kaduna.

He explained that 1,368 beneficiaries earlier posted to various Institutions for skills acquisition have concluded their assignment and were ready to continue with their trades.

Dr. Aminu Yahaya emphasized that the programme was a world Bank Project which takes cognizance of Social and Gender inclusion and being implemented in different phases.

In a message, the state Deputy Governor Hadiza Balarabe expressed Government’s commitment to playing a vital role for successful implementation of the APPEALS Project.
