Nigerian Airforce has re-iterated its determination towards uplifting the living standard of its personnel.

Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar stated this at the commissioning ceremony of a renovated and upgraded Air Training Command Officers Mess held in Kaduna.

Represented by Group Managing Director NAF Holding Company, Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Bala Bagare, the Air Chief explained that the renovation and upgrading of the Officers Mess has restored the lost glory and brought back the standard of the Nigerian Air Force facilities.

He maintained that the project has demonstrated the giant strides of the Nigerian Air Force Holding Company in ensuring the welfare and the upliftment of its Personnel.

Earlier, Air Officer Commanding Air Training Command, Air Vice Marshal Musa Ibrahim Mukhtar commended the Air Chief for his commitment towards the provision of infrastructure and welfare amenities for enhanced operations and personnel comfort especially within its Area of Responsibility.

Represented by Air Commodore Abraham Adole, the Air Officer Commanding expressed delight over the recent commissioning of two students hostel blocks built by Nigerian Air Force Investment Limited-NAFIL at the Airforce Institute of Technology.

In a remark, Managing Director of NAFIL, Air Commodore Uchechi Nwagu said the renovated Officers Mess would be available to both Nigerian Air Force, Sister Services and members of the public desirous of luxurious hospitality.

He commended the effort of management and staff of the Nigerian Air Force Investment Limited for the timely and excellent completion of the project.

Radio Nigeria reports that the renovated facilities included complete remodeled rooms, a fitness center, a bush bar, a convenience store, snooker spot, hotel management software and free internet services for resident guests.
