Union Emphasizes Industrialization As Catalyst For Employment

Vice President, Industrial Global Union Comrade Issa Aremu.

Federal Government has been advised to intensify efforts at reducing the gap between the Rich and Poor people through rapid industrialization.

Vice President of Industrial Global Union, Comrade Issa Aremu made the call in Kaduna while speaking on Nigeria’s Sixtieth Independence Anniversary.

Comrade Aremu who decried that the middle class was at the verge of being wiped out due to unemployment, stressed that government should focus on rapid industrialization which would in turn guarantee job opportunities for the Nigeria Youths.

He however commended federal government for initiating the Ajaokuta-Abuja-Kaduna-Kano Gas Pipeline Project to revive the nation’s industries.

According to him, Nigeria has a lot to celebrate as a United country for having existed for the past sixty years and is in it’s Twenty One years of uninterrupted democracy.

The Vice President congratulated the African continent for it’s ability to contained the Corona Virus pandemic while calling on Nigerians to cooperate with authorities and abide by guidelines against the spread of the disease.
