KAEDCO officials donating relief materials to KDSG

Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company-KAEDCO says it remains committed to providing adequate supply of power and other services to enable residents of the state cope with the stay at home order.

KAEDCO’s Head of Corporate Communications Mr.Abdulaziz Abdullahi made this known while donating relief materials to the government of Kaduna for distribution to residents of the state.

The Communications Officer explained that the donation was part of its Corporate Social Responsibility to support government effort at cushioning the effect of COVID-19 during the lockdown period.

He called on Nigerians to key into government instructions and measures put in place to avert the spread of the global pandemic as he expressed the continued commitment of KAEDCO to support government in her quest to improve the living standard of the people.

Food items donated included: Five hundred bags of rice, Four hundred bags of Semovita, Hundred cartons of noodles and hundred cartons of groundnut oil.

Receiving the donation, Permanent Secretary, General Services, office of the Secretary to the state government Alh.Muhammed Bashir Umar commended KAEDCO for exercising their Corporate Social responsibility pointing out that defeating COVID-19 in the state and the Country at large was a duty for all.
