 Civil servants in the country have been admonished to embrace Ethics of Professionalism to promote National Growth and Human Development.

 Chief of Kaninkon, Tum Ninkyob- Mallam Tanko Tete gave the advice during  presentation of a book entitled ‘’Life of Service’’  to students of Kaduna State University, KASU in Kaduna.

Mallam Tanko Tete explained that the book had chronicled the importance of bureaucracy hence the need to enlighten the University students to promote intellectual development.

The Paramount Ruler identified lack of financial resources and inadequate capacity building as some of the challenges faced during previous Governments, that limited performance and efficiency.

According to Mallam Tanko Tete, strict  adherence to Bureaucratic tenets were key to critical Policy articulation and implementation, as he described civil service as the heartbeat of Government.

In a welcome address, Chief Host and Vice-Chancellor of Kaduna State University Prof.Muhammad Tanko said the University would continue to welcome Seminars, Symposiums, Book and Paper Presentations to widen students’ intellect.

The VC, who was represented by Deputy Vice Chancellor, DVC Administration, Prof. Yuhana Tella Described the Author as a Unique Personality who has a rich track record of humility and commitment in service and high experience in civil service rules and regulations.

In a keynote address, Head of History Department, Kaduna State University Dr. Ashiru Sani stressed that the presentation which clearly pointed out attempts by previous governments to build a united Nigeria would add value to the students especially those in History Department.
