The Al Qanitaat Sisterhood, a women’s dawaa organization has appealed to governments and all concerned parties to provide immediate assistance to the affected communities of Borno and other states including food, shelter, and medical care.
The Ameera of the Sisterhood Hajiya Rashidah Ibrahim made call in a press release made available to newsmen in Abuja.
She also called on the governments and humanitarian
organizations to work together to address the long-term needs of the displaced population.
Hajiya Rashidah Ibrahim lamented that the loss of life and displacement of countless individuals has caused immense suffering and hardship.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and communities affected by this natural
disaster” She said.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost loved ones and homes”.
“We stand in solidarity with the victims and we put you in our prayer during this difficult time”
“May Allah grant mercy to the departed and provide aid and comfort to those who have suffered”.
