Secretary to the Government of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Usman has rejoiced with Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar on his seventy two years birthday.
This is contained in a congratulatory message to the Etsu Nupe on behalf of people and Government of Niger State signed by his Information Officer Lawal Tanko, and made available to newsmen in Minna.
Alhaji Abubakar Usman explained that his ascension on the throne has brought glamour, candor, respect, and dignity to traditional institutions which are the custodian of traditional norms and values in the State.
He however explained that the commitment of His royal father to peace, love for his subjects, and deliberate efforts to position the Nupe Kingdom socially, economically, and culturally among several others are worthy of emulation.
According to him, “I join the entire people of Niger State and the Nupe Kingdom to thank God for His enduring Mercies on the Etsu Nupe over the years for giving him the wisdom to excellently discharge his royal duties”.
As the Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers marks this milestone birthday, I wish the royal father sound health and many years of prosperity on the throne of his forebears, the SGS stressed.
