The Secretary to the Zamfara State Government Malam Abubakar Mohammed Nakwada has charged Heads of government agencies and parastatals in the state to maintain the highest standards of integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical conduct in discharging their duties.
He stated when he received a forum of the heads of the government agencies and parastatals under the umbrella of the Zamfara CEO’s Forum on a courtesy visit held in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.
Malam Abubakar Nakwada who acknowledged their dedication and hard, said their efforts had not gone unnoticed and unappreciated.
“It’s worth noting that accountability in governance and public service is essential for fostering public trust and ensuring that the government’s actions reflect the best interest of the people”.
He urged them to always remember that their positions are built on the trust and confidence placed on them, which he described as a responsibility that must upheld at all times.
“Key among our responsibilities as heads of government agencies and parastatals is to support Governor Lawal and drive his rescue agenda in our various places of primary assignments”.
The SSG pointed out that, his office is currently working to strengthen the Central Delivery Coordination Unit which is an offshoot of the federal government that brings relevant stakeholders on board from the ministries, departments and agencies and employ technology in monitoring performance and progress from the fingertips.
Speaking earlier, the Chairman of the Forum, Alhaji Musa Mallaha expressed their profound gratitude to the SSG for the unrelenting support given to them in discharging their duties and for assisting them towards amicable resolution of all their administrative challenges.
