NOA Praises Nasarawa Assembly for initiating Laws on Public Interests

National Orientation Agency NOA has commended Nasarawa State House of Assembly for initiating people’s driven laws and passed resolutions aimed at enhancing the business of good governance in the State.

The State Director of the Agency, Dr Priscilla Gondualuor gave the commendation while on a courtesy visit to the Speaker, Nasarawa State House of Assembly Mr. Danladi Jatau in his office in Lafia, the state capital.

Dr. Priscilla Gondualuor, who led her management staff on a synergy visit to the Assembly, commended the Speaker for his leadership qualities and the lawmakers for their commitment to ensuring the peace, unity, and development of the State.

She said, the people’s driven laws and resolutions made by the House was not only entrenching democracy and good governance but also addressing the immediate needs of the people.

Dr. Gondualuor thanked the Speaker for always advocating for peace which was in line with the principles of NOA.

 

In addition to urging collaboration between her office and the State Assembly, Gondualuor asked the Speaker and State legislators to maintain transparency and accountability in their actions, emphasizing the importance of effective representation for their constituents.

Responding, Speaker Danladi Jatau commended the NOA for its advocacy and sensitization role in the state and called for its sustenance.

He assured the management that, the Assembly under his watch would leverage on their advocacy expertise to promote peace and government policies aimed at addressing the plights of the populace.

Mr. Danladi Jatau informed his guests that under his watch the Assembly would not derail in enacting laws and resolutions that will have direct bearing on the lives of the citizenry.

The Speaker took the opportunity to express gratitude to Governor Abdullahi Sule for his peace initiatives and developmental efforts in the state.

He assured the Governor that the 7th Assembly would work effectively with the executive branch to promote the overall development of the state.
