Newly appointment Sarkin Sudan Kontagora in Niger state Alh Muhammed Barau Kontagora has been advised to carry every member of his Emirate along to promote peaceful coexistence.
State Governor Alh Abubakar Sani Bello gave the advice while presenting letter of appointment to the new Sarkin Sudan Kontagora at the Government House Minna.
Represented by the Commissioner for Local Government Community Development and Chieftaincy Affairs Mr Emmanuel Umar Governor Abubakar Sani Bello reminded the new Emir that ascending the throne of his ancestors at a difficult time going by insecurity bedeviling Niger state and his Emirate required additional sacrifice.
The Governor while thanking the people of Kontagora Emirate for their patience tolerance and understanding throughout the selection process appealed to them to support the new Emir to succeed.
The new Sarkin Sudan Kontagora Alh Muhammed Barau Kontagora who appreciated Allah for chosen him among many also promised to operate an open door policy during his reign as exemplified by those before him to move the Emirate forward.
